| So I decided to get back in the game since parts and tools are easier to get in the states than in Germany. Plus it's least likely to kill the turbo since there is no autobahn to run on. Anyways, goal is 600-700hp. I've learn alot from running the car on the autobahn and the main focus is to reduce heat. For instance, trying to retain the oil squirters and adding a oil cooler. Really wanted an EVO but I'll have to buy a $20,000 car plus parts. Things have been slow because I have a 90+ man platoon and I swear everyone has issues. No personal time for me. List of parts: -B16 Head (At Portcity machines getting worked on) -B18C1 Block (On it's way back from Z10 with AEBS sleeves) -6266 Vband inlet and outlet turbo will be used -Manifold and downpipe will be down by Synapse here in NY -Hondata S300 W/CPR ignition might use the boost option this time. -Crower Turbo Cams (Same cams I've been using for years) - Oil Cooler - Mishimoto Radiator I'll post picks of the garage. All the rest of the parts are in storage. Can't remember what I got. As the build continues, I'll keep posting pics. Examining the old block Oil was leaking down the exhaust valves and into the cylinders caused engine to burn oil quickly. Too much autobahn abuse caused valve seals to fail. Sand Blasting Cabinet. Parts after sand blasting and and painting. Parts Washer Craftsman Professional Series Air Compressor. New in the box Millermatic MIG welder and Autodarkening Helmet Trying to remember where all the emissions stuff goes. Have to pass an emissions inspection. | |

Well in order for me to run her on the street, I need to pass emissions. 1996 and newer has to pass emissions. As for the Tig welder, I just completed welding school and to HELL with tig. To time consuming and expensive. Shit looks good though when all said and done. With the MIG, my instructor made such beautiful welds unlike mine and it's faster. I need to practice.

| The new build sounds solid , it's soo much easier to do it in the states . AEBS is the best sleeving process in the game . Their design is superior and built to hold serious power . With that 6266 , you'll have a sweet street powerband as long as you have the fuel to back it up . You still gonna run the Ramhorn ? Glad to see you back in the game , thought for sure you'd be in a mustang or Evo . Hondas are cheap compared to other builds and you already have a majority of the parts just sitting . | |

| German roads really do show a car's weak points, no doubt. I feel you there.
Good luck with the build, bro!

| Thanks guys for the comments. Just got the block in today. Measurements checked out against the pistons and it's right on point. Also got my new ASR sway bar and brace. Gave away the one I had on my car to my best friend for free. Trying to get my Gold subframe brace back from him though. Also went to check on my head today. The machinist showed me how the valves were pitted from the oil dripping down the valves. He couldn't repair them so they ordered me Ferrea exhaust valves. He cleaned the seats and resurfaced the head. Looks real good. They're about to order me Ferrea valve seals. B18C1 AEBS sleeved block O-ringed. Arias Pistons 84MM ASR Brace and Swaybar Innovative Mounts Low Profile Skunk2 valve cover retainers

Im wanting to run a ramhorn because it's cheaper, but Synapse is thinking I might have a fitment problem. Im waiting for the turbo to come in and then I'll take it down to them so they can build my manifold and downpipe. They might talk me into getting a topmount Vband. Mustangs have always been my dream car and EVOs are just f'ing wicked!!! But, I'm 36 years old now and will use my wisdom and go the cheaper route. Plus I have another little one on the way. lol...

| Turbo came in just a week. Now I have to take it to Synapse and have them build my manifold and downpipe. Ill do it as soon as they make my intercooler. Ill drop off the turbo and pick up the intercooler at the same time. 6266 Exhaust .82AR V-band housing Compressor housing Camber adjuster before sandblasting. Same part after sandblasting. | |

| Nice snail , it's funny cuz that was the turbo I was looking at (6266) , pte makes nice turbo that perform on a decent budget . Ported shroud /huge exhaust capable of reaching 700whp . The only deciding factor for me was cooling , the autobahns are hard on turbos , thats why I went with the 35R . Kinda fell in my lap for a good price so we'll see . Damn so your changing your whole setup then (mani,dp,ic,icpipes ) ? Do yo thang !!!!! | |

Damn so your changing your whole setup then (mani,dp,ic,icpipes ) ? Do yo thang !!!!! Also, if I were you, I would add an oil cooler if you don't have one already. I'm changing the setup because I had an A/C manifold before. It put the compressor side of the turbo right up against the block and the turbo was always a pain to reach. As for the turbo, I was going with a 6466 at first but that mofo is $1700+ (no journal bearing option). But it spools almost like a 62 with close to the power of a 67.

- I am trying to find a good oil cooler, but problem is finding somewhere to mount it, when I had the EK I mount above the intercooler, but the EG and del sol does not have that space, what size lines should I use for the oil cooler, I think I can mount one between the radiator and the intercooler. looking at the CX racing oil cooler, that dude be wanting too much to ship APO though. anyways I want a big cooler maybe 16 row.
this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/180675513169?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_7194wt_1037 or this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/140559434668?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_6402wt_1037
or bigger, is 8AN lines big enough? I never used an oil cooler before, but there is always trial and ever. If you think you need to use a -10AN go for it, but if oil pressure becomes too low than go with a smaller line. As we spoke about on the phone, the length of my lines may be to small. I might have to purchase longer lines.

| Rolled down to Synapse today to pick up my intercooler and drop off my turbo. I'm going with a Vband topmount with twin gates. They have a lot of projects going on and a lot of nice cars in the garage. The Welding is top notch. I spoke with Greg the sales rep and he gave me a tour of the shop. THESE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING FOR SURE!!!! Intercooler. Not a good pic. No lighting in my garage. All it is is a Garrett core with end tanks welded on by Synapse. Also picked up the head from Port City Machines in Oswego. They did a great job on the valves and research on what exhaust valves to put in. | |

ordered the oil cooler we spoke about, and I found the mishimoto shroud on amazon for normal shipping to APO instead of that international rip off that ebay as been doing to soldiers. Did you send the cooler to my house?
