Why cant these guys drive evos hahahaaha .......
They are starting to. 1 out of 3 Evo owners is a dumbass (that statistic is rock solid..and no, I am not the 1). Subie owners have about the same normal-to-dumbass ratio.
It won't be long before we have an abundance of "evo clubs" like all of the subie and Z twats.

yea unfortunately I got to meet one of the dumbass evo owners when I was taking the engine out of mine. He asked me to tune his car with his boost controller. WTF?
I do the same as Palmer, I tell them what I think of them owning a car like that and then they realize that I can be a real asshole and they don't talk to me anymore. lol. I just can't really stand the stupidity. It's fucking annoying.
The idiot in the blue del sol was trying to act like he new everything there is to know about skylines, cause the M3 owner used to own a few different skylines when he was in japan. He just kept sayin, yea cause it's jdm.

That's terrible. I hated those guys in Germany. I don't go to the Hobby Shop as much any more, so I don't run into them as often.
It's the lower costs of used EVO/WRX/STi's that is allowing younger, dumber kids to buy them and pretend. The good thing is, they'll learn in a year or two how much they don't know. The waiting sucks though. The rest of them will move on after a year or two and end up in the new Scion/Subaru RWD platform.

the only good thing about the lowering price of evo 8's is that i can start looking to buy another one for a DD!

I don't think the new RWD cars will have enough power to entice these kids. More likely the current owners of STi/Evos will snatch these up, and more dolts will end up in STi/Evos.

just a heads up,
but if you have an aftermarlet steering wheel, and your car came with an air bag.... it needs it for inspection apparently.
just fail my inspection for that, cause the hub that i have cam with a resistor that will cause the comp. to think that the airbag is still there, witch in turn makes the airbag light turn off after the car is runnin.
Oh and also if you have a harness. make sure that it has its TUV cert. on it.... that was the other thing that i failed for.

the German law (for locals not military) states that if your car is equipped from the manufacture with Airbags, when you put in an aftermarket steering wheel it must have airbags as well. I know the german gov't has been cracking down on military stationed in Germany hence why the inspection became so damn tough in the last 8 years!!
Well, Accidently set the Corrado on fire tonight........ LOL......
Yup I said it...... Set it on FIRE!!!!!
wasnt paying attention when I was welding... thank god I selled something funny and then decided to look inside the wheel well. Stupid Undercoating!!
Foot and a half flames, blew on it for 3 minutes before it went out... LOL..... Can you believe I do this for a living... I promise I am better than what you all read..... but when it comes to my own shit, I tend to miss step 1 and 2 and go straight to set 3, the good news is that I got the strut tower all seam welded in and I am almost do with the driver's side engine bay shave......

The only other Subaru RX I know of in running condition, caught fire last year, and died. I really need to stop forgetting a extinguisher in all my cars.

Some of us have been lucky, some... not so lucky. I think you, Carlos and I fit the lucky cat. When my Jetta bought on fire, a cable under my dash caught fire, catching the polish on my boots to catch fire. First I unhooked the battery then ran in and got a fire extinguisher. Plus fortunately the Wing INtel Vault at Shaw is 20 feet from the fire building.
at least it did not go this bad! I remember this circulating around vwvortex years ago.

My first car was supposed to be a 84.5 Ford Escort. Was my sister's. My dad worked for Ford at the time, and was DD it to work. Well, the ignition decided to kill itself, and caught fire. Took out a brand new cougar, and a dually pickup while it was committing suicide. Cool car.

caught my hatch on fire before while welding the cage also, someone (kevin) when he was helping me out put the undercoating before the car was finished lol, good thing I had no interior. and this is why I carry a fire extinguisher at the track, the dumb inspector at the track told me to remove it, I said ok and put it back it.
